Solution
Bitpalace provides a trust center signed SSL/TLS certificate for mail connections to and from your mail server for free. All e-mail transmissions including all connections between your client and the host can be encrypted by SSL (Secure Socket Layer), TLS (Transport Layer Security, a newer version of SSL) respectively. Connections to other mail servers will also be encrypted if the other mail servers support encryption.
The Bitpalace Business Booster also supports SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), so that your FTP up- and downloads can encrypted. This uses the public, trust center signed SSL/TLS certificate, too, that has been published for the host's domain name. If your FTP client does not support encryption, you can also use plain connections.
You can encrypt e-mail and FTP for free by using the SSL/TLS certificate that your Bitpalace host computer offers. In addition to the free host certificate you can generate your own free SSL/TLS certificate for each domain. These certificates are provided by the IT industry's "Let's Encrypt" initiative. You can use the certificate to offer a tap-proof, encrypted connection to your website.
