Symptom

Under the "SSL/TLS Certificates" icon of the web space control panel it says that the WWW domain or webmail is not secured.

Cause

When you created the certificate, you did not check the boxes “Include a ‘www’ subdomain for the domain and each selected alias” or “Secure webmail on this domain”. Therefore, the certificate only contains the domain in the notation without “www” and without “webmail”.

Solution

You can renew the certificate and include the www and webmail subdomains in the process.

1. Log into the webspace control panel.

2. Click on the “Websites & Domains” menu.

3. Click on the "SSL/TLS certificates" icon.

4. Click on the "Reissue Certificate" button.

5. In the “Entry-level protection” section, click on the “Get it free” button.

6. Check the checkboxes " Include a ‘www’ subdomain for the domain and each selected alias " and "Secure webmail on this domain".

7. Click on the "Get it free" button.
